Actress Cate Blanchett and her husband, theatre producer Andrew Upton has finally revealed the name of their new baby girl. The excited parents named the newest addition to their family, Edith Vivian Patricia Upton. That is quite a mouthful, but sources say the baby girl will be called Vivian for short.

Cate Blanchett and Andrew Upton are already proud parents of three boys, 13-year-od Dashiell, 10-year-old Roman and six-year-old Ignatius. In old interviews, Blanchett discussed how much she wanted a fourth child before she decided to adopt baby Edith. The news about the newest Blanchett-Upton addition made headlines once spectators caught Cate outside the gates of her sons’ school holding what seemed to be a newborn. The Cinderella actress said she is ‘absolutely bestowed’ with her new daughter.

“There’s a lot of children out there who don’t have the good fortune that our biological children do, so it’s wonderful. It’s wonderful to welcome a little girl into our fold.”

Reports are stating that Cate Blanchett and Andrew Upton will be relocating their growing family to the United States. Their move will be official once Andrew’s contract as an artistic director at the Sydney Theatre Company is up later this year.
